The arm of the Islands is on the observe of each coin. These were struck by Osborne coinage in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. JL initial is visible on the reverse side of all these coins. Four major spoken languages in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands i.e. Bengali, Hindi, English and Tamil are seen in each coin.
